Fudekageyama Observatory is located atop 222-meter Fudekageyama mountain in Mihara City, Hiroshima Prefecture. Known as a breathtaking spot offering panoramic views of the Seto Inland Sea's many islands, it attracts numerous visitors. From the observation deck, you can enjoy a 360-degree vista of the beautiful Seto Inland Sea, dotted with islands of varying sizes. On a clear day, you might even be able to see as far as Ehime Prefecture. Sunset is particularly spectacular, painting the sky in hues of red and orange, creating a truly magical atmosphere. The area around the observatory is well-maintained like a park, complete with benches and walking paths, allowing you to leisurely enjoy the scenery. A souvenir shop is also located at the observatory, offering items themed around the Seto Inland Sea and local specialties.
