Take the Kyushu Sangyo Bus bound for Minamata Sangyo from Minamata Station on the Hisatsu Orange Railway Line (via Minamatabyo Museum Shimo). Get off at the “Ecopark Michinoeki Minamata” bus stop. The park features a playground, sports facilities, a Japanese garden called "Chikurin-en" (Bamboo Grove Garden), and a 465m-long boardwalk built without any preservatives. Michinoeki Minamata (Minamata Roadside Station) is also located within the park. In the distance, you can see Koiji-shima Island, a famous lovers' spot.
