The Yunoji Cherry Line is a stunning approximately 5km stretch of cherry blossom trees along the Unkai Sea in Hama, Minamata City, Kumamoto Prefecture. Peak bloom is from late March to early April. Approximately 500 cherry trees in full bloom create a truly awe-inspiring sight. The profusion of pale pink blossoms soothes the soul and announces the arrival of spring. It's a popular drive route, allowing you to enjoy the cherry blossoms from your car window. During cherry blossom season, boat tours operate, offering a unique perspective of the cherry blossom tunnel from the sea. Nearby, you'll find many other spots to enjoy the cherry blossoms, such as Osaki-hana Park and Wada-misaki Park. Osaki-hana Park offers a view of the cherry blossoms against the backdrop of the vast Pacific Ocean, while Wada-misaki Park provides a stunning contrast between the blossoms and the Unkai Sea.
