Approximately 800,000 square meters (Note: The original text likely contains a typo; 80 hectares is more likely) of expansive grounds are ablaze with 20,000 white plum trees, heralding the arrival of spring. The sight of the plum blossoms in full bloom is truly breathtaking! You can enjoy a relaxing stroll surrounded by their sweet fragrance. The garden features a museum where you can learn about different plum varieties and their history, as well as rest areas, making it a place you can enjoy all day. Various events are also held during plum season. The "Yume Tachibana Umemi Kai" offers plum wine tasting and the sale of plum-based dishes, allowing you to fully experience the charm of plums. Tanigawa Plum Grove is a recommended sightseeing spot for refreshing your mind and body as you sense the arrival of spring. The period from mid-February to early March, when the plum blossoms are in full bloom, is especially busy with tourists.
