Tokeiji Temple

Overview

Tokeiji Temple is a Rinzai Zen Buddhist temple located in Yamanouchi, Kamakura City. It was established by Masako, the daughter of the Kamakura Shogunate regent, Hojo Tokiyori, to commemorate her husband, Hojo Tokimune. It's counted among the five great temples of Kamakura (Kamakura Gozan), making it a place steeped in history. The temple offers a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for finding peace and quiet.
