Parking is free. We have space for 148 standard vehicles and 6 handicapped-accessible spaces. There is no designated parking for large buses, but up to 3 can park in the rotary. Please contact us in advance for groups of more than 3 buses. Please be aware that it gets extremely crowded during the plum blossom, jade vine, and rose blooming seasons. Groups arriving by large bus are required to contact us in advance.
Odawara Flower Garden, located in Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, is a botanical garden where you can enjoy flowers throughout the year. The garden features a vibrant array of colorful flowers and lush greenery, offering a relaxing escape for visitors. From cherry blossoms and tulips in spring, water lilies and hydrangeas in summer, roses and cosmos in autumn, to plum blossoms in winter, a stunning variety of flowers bloom, creating a beautiful spectacle year-round.
The rose garden is particularly noteworthy, boasting approximately 145 species and 345 rose bushes. During peak bloom in mid-May and early October, the air is filled with the sweet fragrance of roses, transforming the garden into a true floral paradise. Informative panels detailing the types and characteristics of roses are also available in the rose garden.
The garden also features a greenhouse, "Tropical Dome Greenhouse," where you can admire tropical and subtropical plants, offering a lush, green space all year round. The greenhouse maintains a comfortable temperature of 22 degrees Celsius using residual heat from the adjacent Odawara City Environmental Service Center, ensuring a pleasant visit year-round. Approximately 200 species of tropical and subtropical plants are on display, creating a breathtaking sight.
Other highlights include a plum grove, an iris pond, and Arcadia Square. The plum grove hosts plum blossom festivals and events during the blooming season from mid-January to early March. The iris pond is at its most beautiful around mid-June, showcasing approximately 180 species and 1,000 iris plants. Arcadia Square, a plaza surrounded by flowerbeds, offers fountains and water play features during the summer.
