Kyoseki Park, located in Yamato-machi, Saga City, Saga Prefecture, is a park featuring 17 megaliths, each over 10 meters tall, situated at altitudes ranging from 200 to 350 meters. These stones, bearing the weight of thousands of years, each hold a unique story and emanate a mystical atmosphere. The megaliths are believed to be the sacred objects of Yotohime Shrine, once a prominent shrine in Hizen province, adding a touch of ancient mystique.
A well-maintained walking trail winds through the megalith cluster, providing a delightful hiking experience. The trail snakes between the stones, adding to the sense of adventure. The views from atop the stones are breathtaking and expansive.
