The Fukushima Prefectural Museum of Art opened in July 1984 (Showa 59), alongside the adjacent Fukushima Prefectural Library. Its purpose is to enhance people's sensitivity and cultivate their aesthetic sensibilities through exposure to outstanding artworks, providing a space for relaxation, joy, and inspiration. To achieve this, the museum strives to enrich its collection, preserve precious cultural properties, actively promote exhibitions and educational programs based on ongoing research, and provide diverse information on art. By Car:
● From Fukushima Iizaka Interchange: Approximately 15 minutes (Head south on National Route 13 towards Fukushima city center, go through Shinobuyama Tunnel, and turn right at the Chuo Post Office intersection.)
● From Fukushima Nishi Interchange: Approximately 20 minutes (National Route 115 → National Route 13 north, turn left at the Chuo Post Office intersection.) *The route from Fukushima Nishi Interchange is somewhat complicated, so first-time visitors are recommended to use the Fukushima Iizaka Interchange.
※The parking lot is shared with the Prefectural Library and has 150 spaces (free. 12 large buses can park).

Permanent Exhibition: General admission ¥1,000 (¥800 for groups of 20 or more), High school/University students ¥800 (¥640 for groups of 20 or more), Elementary/Junior high school students ¥400 (¥320 for groups of 20 or more).
Special Exhibitions: Fees vary depending on the exhibition.
