Hanamiyama Park, located in Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture, is a renowned flower viewing spot in Fukushima, boasting approximately 7,000 peach and forsythia blossoms and other colorful flowers.
The park is situated on land used by local flower cultivation farmers. In spring, the hill is blanketed in a spectacular display of flowers.
The park is especially stunning in early to mid-April when the peach blossoms are at their peak, creating a scene reminiscent of a peach blossom paradise with its vibrant pink and white flowers.
Hanamiyama Park is also a popular photo spot, attracting many tourists.
While Hanamiyama Park is magnificent in spring, its autumn foliage is equally captivating. In autumn, maple and ginkgo trees showcase brilliant colors.

From Fukushima Station, take the Fukushima Kotsu bus "Hanamiyama-go" for about 15 minutes. It's a 10-minute walk from the Hanamiyama bus stop.
*During peak bloom season, Fukushima Kotsu operates direct "Hanamiyama-go" buses. You can board at platform 8, Fukushima Station East Exit.
*If driving, follow the temporary traffic signs from the Tohoku Expressway Fukushima-Iizaka IC, etc., to the Abukuma Shin'sui Park parking area. A shuttle bus (¥500 round trip) runs from the parking lot to Hanamiyama Park.
