Yuhiga-ura Onsen is a hot spring resort located in Amanohashi-cho Hamazume, Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture. Also known as "Hamazume Onsen," its official name in the Kyoto Prefecture Hot Springs Registry is "Hamazume Yuhiga-ura Onsen." Yuhiga-ura Onsen is known as a romantic hot spring town where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset over the Sea of Japan. Located near Hamazume Coast (Yuhiga-ura), a renowned sunset spot selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Sunsets, the hot spring town boasts 44 Ryokans (traditional Japanese inns) and Minshuku (guesthouses). The water quality of Yuhiga-ura Onsen is alkaline simple hot spring. Called "Bijin no Yu" (Beauty's Hot Spring), it's gentle on the skin, allowing you to relax and soothe away daily fatigue while soaking. The source temperature ranges from 40℃ to 43℃, with abundant water volume. Some Ryokans in the town offer sand baths (sunafuro).
