By Public Transportation (Train): Approximately 40 minutes by taxi from Kiso-Fukushima Station on the JR Chuo Main Line (operated by JR Tokai). This high altitude, combined with its inland location far from the sea, results in exceptionally high-quality powder snow, despite the relatively low snowfall. In fact, the nearby Kaida Kogen weather station, operated by the Japan Meteorological Agency, recorded a record low temperature of -22.0 degrees Celsius. Kaida Kogen My Ski Resort offers six courses suitable for skiers and snowboarders of all levels, from beginner to advanced. The longest run is 3,200m long, with a variety of slopes catering to different skill levels. A moving walkway is installed in the kids' area, ensuring a safe and fun experience for young children. From the summit, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of magnificent scenery, including the majestic Mount Ontake, the Southern Alps, and the Central Alps.
