Winghills Shiratori Resort is a ski resort located in Shiratori-cho, Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture. In winter, enjoy skiing and snowboarding; in summer, experience camping and mountain biking (downhill). The resort is especially famous for its summer slope, a world's longest summer ski slope measuring 1000m long and 30m wide. A 923.7m section of this slope received a Guinness World Record in July 2011. Known as the "west sacred ground" for mountain biking (with Fujimi Panorama Resort in Nagano Prefecture considered the "east sacred ground"), it's incredibly popular with mountain bikers. On-site amenities include a day-use hot spring, "Manten-no-Yu," and hotels, "Manten-no-Yado" and "Hotel Villa Wing," offering convenient accommodation.
