Momenbutsu Cave is a Special Natural Monument of Nara Prefecture, nestled in the abundant nature of Tenkawa Village. Inside, countless stalactites, stalagmites, and columns, beautifully arranged and formed over countless years, create a mystical space resembling an underground palace. Experience the thrill of cave exploration in a consistently cool environment – the temperature hovers around 10 degrees Celsius year-round, making it a popular summer retreat. The cave is illuminated with enchanting lighting, enhancing its mystical atmosphere. The stalactites, stalagmites, and columns have grown into various shapes, captivating visitors with their beauty. As you journey deeper into the cave, you'll encounter diverse landscapes, such as "Amanogawa" (Milky Way), where giant stalactites hang from the ceiling, and "Sekizan no Mori" (Stalagmite Forest), a dense collection of stalagmites.
