Mount Kurikoma is a 1,626-meter-high independent peak spanning Miyagi, Iwate, and Akita prefectures. Iwakagami-hira, on the Miyagi side, represents a prime sightseeing area of Mount Kurikoma. Mount Kurikoma is an ideal destination for hikers and mountaineers.
