NIFREL is a museum located in Senri Banpaku Koen, Suita City, Osaka Prefecture, and is produced by Kaiyukan (Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan). It's an unprecedented facility where you can intuitively enjoy the beauty and wonder of living creatures. Transcending the genres of aquarium, zoo, and art museum, you can observe creatures as if they were art.
The facility is divided into eight themed zones, each showcasing the charm of creatures through different themes. For example, the "iro ni fureru" (touching colors) zone exhibits vibrantly colored fish, allowing visitors to appreciate the beauty of their colors. The "waza ni fureru" (touching skills) zone lets you observe the unique abilities and habits of creatures. There's also the "tsunagari ni fureru" (touching connections) zone, featuring impressive large-screen visuals, and the "WONDER MOMENTS" zone, offering a fantastical light experience. These diverse exhibits offer something for everyone.
NIFREL is more than just an exhibit of creatures; it provides a chance to reflect on the connection between humans and nature and the importance of the natural environment. It's a captivating museum for both adults and children – a must-see!
