From the observation deck, you can see ships passing through the Kanmon Straits and the Kanmon Bridge. Ganryu Island is a small island in the Kanmon Straits, known as the site of the duel between Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki Kojiro. You can get a close-up view of Ganryu Island from the observation deck. Mojiko Retro is an area that recreates the townscape of Mojiko Port, which flourished as an international trading port in the Meiji era (1868-1912).
