Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park is a city park located in Yubetsu-cho, Hokkaido. The vast flower fields, boasting approximately 1.2 million tulips in around 200 varieties, are a truly awe-inspiring sight. New varieties are introduced annually from the Netherlands and Toyama Prefecture, creating a vibrant tapestry of colors that resembles a living painting. A windmill observation deck at the center of the park offers panoramic views of the entire garden. The combination of windmills and tulips evokes the charm of a European landscape painting. There are also flowerbeds showcasing original tulip species, and displays featuring items such as giant Dutch clogs.
During the tulip blooming season, the "Kamiyubetsu Tulip Fair" is held, attracting numerous tourists. During the fair, events such as tulip bulb sales and tulip-related activities take place. There's also an exhibition corner that introduces the history of tulips and how to plant tulip bulbs.
Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park is a must-see destination, offering not only vast flower fields but also a windmill observation deck and exhibitions dedicated to tulips. Enjoy the vibrant colors of millions of tulips amidst the majestic nature of Hokkaido.
