Peace Memorial Park is an irreplaceable place for the citizens of Hiroshima, serving as a testament to the atomic bombing tragedy and a prayer for lasting world peace. Within the park stands the World Heritage-listed Genbaku Dome, and the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, which conveys the horror of the atomic bomb and the brutality of war. The Genbaku Dome is a precious relic preserving its appearance from the day of the bombing, allowing visitors to witness the scars of war firsthand. From JR Hiroshima Station, take Hiroshima Electric Railway (streetcar) Line 2 for Miyajimaguchi or Line 6 for Eba (Eba), and get off at the Genbaku Dome-mae stop.
From JR Hiroshima Station, take Hiroshima Electric Railway (streetcar) Line 1 for Hiroshima Port, and get off at Honmachi, Fukuromachi, or Chuden-mae stops.
From Hiroshima Station Bus Terminal, No. 3 platform, take Hiroshima Bus Line 24 (Yoshijima Line) for Yoshijima Depot or Yoshijima Hospital. Alternatively, from No. 6 platform, take Hiroshima Bus Line 25 (Kusatsu Line) for Iguchi/Shoukousenter via Peace Memorial Park. Get off at the Peace Memorial Park bus stop. (Line 25 also has a route via Tokaichi; if taking that route, get off at Genbaku Dome-mae stop).

Entry beyond the fence surrounding the Atomic Bomb Dome is prohibited. It is not an accessible facility; viewing is from outside only.
