Shiga Agriculture Park, Blume no Oka, is a nature-filled park themed around dairy farming, interaction with animals, and hands-on experiences, all inspired by medieval Germany. The park features vast flower fields, a petting zoo, barbecue houses, restaurants, cafes, shops, athletic facilities, playgrounds, a miniature steam train, and much more—guaranteeing a fun-filled day for all.
In spring, a vibrant array of tulips paints the park in a kaleidoscope of colors. Summer brings fields of sunflowers basking under the sun, filled with the joyful sounds of children at play. Autumn sees cosmos blooming in abundance, inviting leisurely strolls in the crisp autumn air. In winter, Blume no Oka presents a magical scene, its landscape transformed by a blanket of snow.
At the petting zoo, you can interact with adorable animals such as sheep, alpacas, and horses. Children can learn about the value of life and the importance of nature through these encounters. The park also offers various dining options, including barbecue houses, restaurants, cafes, and shops. Enjoy fresh ingredients at the barbecue houses, savor delicious dishes made with locally sourced ingredients at the restaurants, relax with coffee and sweets at the cafes, and find plenty of souvenirs, including locally produced goods and Blume no Oka original merchandise at the shops.
Blume no Oka is a captivating place where you can connect with nature and stimulate your five senses. Why not create lasting memories with family and friends?
