Kamakura Kokomae Station (station number EN08) is located in Koshigoe, Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and is a station on the Enoshima Electric Railway. The view of the expansive ocean from the platform is renowned as a breathtaking scene representative of the Enoshima Electric Railway and the Shonan area. In 1997, it was selected as one of the 'Top 100 Stations in Kanto'. The railway crossing next to the station appeared in the opening sequence of the anime adaptation of the basketball manga *SLAM DUNK*, making it a popular pilgrimage site for domestic and international tourists. From the station platform, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the vast Shonan ocean and Enoshima Island. On clear days, you might even catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji – a truly spectacular sight!
