Sunshine Aquarium is located on the rooftop of the World Import Mart Building in Sunshine City. It's a true sky oasis, offering close encounters with sea lions and penguins against the backdrop of the city's skyscrapers. Around 23,000 creatures of 550 species live in approximately 70 different tanks. The approximately 240-ton main tank, "Sunshine Lagoon," houses large whale sharks and ocean sunfish, while smaller creatures like cliones and even non-marine animals like iguanas are also on display. The jellyfish area, "Kurage Kuukan" (Jellyfish Space), which opened in 2020, is a truly magical space where you can lose yourself in the mesmerizing dance of jellyfish. Sunshine Aquarium also hosts various events, including training demonstrations and feeding explanations, offering deeper insights into the creatures' lives. Sunshine Aquarium provides opportunities for human-nature interaction, with something new to discover on every visit. Come experience the wonders of the underwater world at Sunshine Aquarium!
