Overview
Chiba Port Tower is a 125.15-meter-tall landmark tower located in Chiba Port Park in Chuo-ku, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture. Constructed to celebrate Chiba Prefecture's population surpassing 5 million in September 1983, it opened on June 15, 1986. A beloved symbol of Chiba Port, the observation deck provides stunning 360-degree panoramic views of Tokyo Bay, Mount Fuji, Tokyo Skytree, and the surrounding area. Residents of Chiba Prefecture aged 60 or older can enter free of charge upon presentation of a government-issued ID. People with disabilities (and one caregiver) can also enter free of charge upon presentation of a government-issued disability certificate.
