Katanuma Lake is a beautiful caldera lake surrounded by mountains in Naruko Onsen, Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture. Estimated to have formed about 1200 years ago, it's an oval-shaped lake measuring 462 meters east-west, 326 meters north-south, and 1380 meters in circumference.
