Sera Kozan Fureai no Sato is a multi-purpose resort facility located in Sera-cho, Hiroshima Prefecture.
It once featured pensions, cottages, tennis courts, a campground, a restaurant, and bath facilities. However, due to aging facilities and declining numbers of overnight and training guests, it closed in July 2008.
It reopened on April 1, 2010, as Sera Kozan Fureai no Sato and has since become famous as a stunning location for weeping cherry blossoms.
In spring, 250 weeping cherry trees create a breathtaking spectacle, painting the landscape in shades of pink.
In addition to weeping cherries, the grounds feature various cherry tree varieties, including Someiyoshino and Yamazakura, each offering its unique beauty.
Beyond cherry blossom season, azaleas, hydrangeas, and other seasonal flowers bloom throughout the year, making it a delightful destination year-round.
From the observation deck, you can enjoy panoramic views of the majestic mountains.
Sera Kozan Fureai no Sato offers a tranquil escape surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxation.
While it's bustling with tourists during cherry blossom season, it provides a peaceful retreat for nature lovers throughout the rest of the year.
Visit Sera Kozan Fureai no Sato and immerse yourself in its captivating scenery and abundant natural beauty.
