It's located about an hour from the Shirakami-Sanchi Visitor Center. The road is a narrow, gravel forest road, so it's only enjoyable for those who appreciate this kind of drive; otherwise, it might just feel tedious. The parking lot is located past the trailhead to the Mother Tree, so please don't park in the bus turnaround area. From the parking lot, it's an easy 200-meter walk on a gentle slope to the Mother Tree, making it accessible to everyone. Show route
