Hie Shrine is located in Nagatacho, in the heart of Tokyo. Founded approximately 1300 years ago during the Heian period, it has long been a place of worship, believed to offer various blessings. The principal deity of Hie Shrine is Ooyamakuikami, a mountain god and protector of the land. Therefore, Hie Shrine is said to grant a wide range of wishes, including matchmaking, protection from misfortune, safe childbirth, and business prosperity.
