Science Expo Memorial Park was created on the site of Block D, the main venue of the 1985 International Science and Technology Exposition (Tsukuba Expo). The "Gate of Science," a remnant from that era, is a 10-meter-high gate featuring a seemingly simple hanging sphere. However, from different angles, the faces of four historically significant scientists magically appear.
