Witness the entire process of how Kiyoken's famous shumai are made.
Overview
The Kiyoken Yokohama Factory produces the popular "Kiyoken Shumai Bento" (lunch box). The factory tour offers an in-depth look at the shumai-making process. From kneading the dough for the wrappers to mixing and shaping the filling, and finally steaming them – you'll see every step up close. You'll also learn the secrets behind the blend of pork, onions, dried scallops, and other ingredients used in the shumai filling. The tour culminates with a tasting of freshly steamed, piping-hot shumai – a truly special treat! A souvenir shop offers Kiyoken shumai, goods, and exclusive items you can only find here. A must-visit for any fan of Kiyoken's shumai bento.
