Taking advantage of the warm climate where frost rarely occurs even in winter, a variety of flowers such as poppies, rapeseed flowers, snapdragons, calendula, and stocks are cultivated. From early January to mid-March, numerous flowers are in full bloom, creating a truly spectacular scene worthy of its name. At Shiramazu Flower Fields, you can enjoy flower picking. Pick your own flowers to create original bouquets or take them home as souvenirs. Flower picking fees vary depending on the individual flower gardens, so please check in advance. Also, near the bus stop along National Route 127, you'll find "Shiramazu Hana no Parking" (Shiramazu Flower Parking). This parking area has a flower shop, restrooms, and souvenir shops. Shiramazu Flower Fields is easily accessible by car; it's approximately a 40-minute drive from Tomiura IC on the Futtsu-Tateyama Expressway. By train, take the bus to "Shiramazu no Hanabatake" from JR Chikura Station, and it's a 1-minute walk from there.
