Located in Kuroshio-cho, Kochi Prefecture, Ukibe Beach is a popular family beach known for its calm waves and beautiful sandy shore. The shallow waters make it safe for young children. The contrast between the blue sea and white sand is breathtaking, and the surrounding lush greenery offers opportunities for pleasant strolls. With an on-site campground, you can easily pitch a tent and relax after a day of fun in the sun. While daytime swimming is a must, the stunning sunset views are equally captivating. Ukibe Beach is conveniently located about a 40-minute drive west on National Route 56 from Shimanto-cho Chuo IC on the Shikoku Yokedan Expressway. It's also easily accessible, being only about a 10-minute walk from Kai no Ouge Station on the Tosa Kuroshio Railway. The swimming season runs from early July to the end of August. Free parking is available for 55 cars. Restrooms, showers, and changing rooms are also provided for your convenience. Ukibe Beach offers a variety of activities in a naturally rich environment, including swimming, camping, and hiking. Be sure to visit when you're in Kochi Prefecture!
