The Ibaraki Prefectural Museum of Ceramic Art, established in 1999, is the first museum in eastern Japan dedicated to ceramics. Free admission for those with a disability certificate, rehabilitation certificate, mental disability health and welfare certificate, or a designated intractable disease medical expense recipient certificate, and one accompanying caregiver per person. Free admission for elementary, junior high, and high school students on Saturdays (excluding long school holidays). There are free admission days for those 70 years and older. Free admission for everyone on November 13th, Ibaraki Prefectural Citizens' Day. Please check the official website for details.
