Michinoku Hydrangea Garden, located in Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture, is the largest hydrangea garden in Tohoku, showcasing approximately 15,000 hydrangea plants. From late June to early July, the garden is a breathtaking spectacle of pink, purple, blue, and other vibrant hues, captivating visitors. The garden is divided into sections showcasing different hydrangea varieties, each with its unique charm. For example, the "Western Hydrangea" area features magnificent large blooms, while the "Lacecap Hydrangea" area offers a more serene atmosphere with its delicate white flowers.
