Take the Nankai Wing Bus bound for "Ushikidayama" from Kishiwada Station on the Nankai Main Line. The ride is approximately 50 minutes, and the bus stops right at the "Ushikidayama" terminal.
Alternatively, a free shuttle bus (not operating on Sundays and public holidays) is available from Kishiwada Station (Fukushi Center-mae) on the Nankai Main Line. The 45-minute ride will drop you off at "Iyayokano Sato," a 5-minute walk from Daiitoku-ji.

Daiitoku-ji Temple is a Tendai Buddhist temple nestled in the Ushikidayama mountains of Kishiwada City, Osaka Prefecture, and is renowned for its stunning autumn foliage.
Reverently regarded as a sacred site of Katsuragi Shugendo since ancient times, Daiitoku-ji Temple is said to have been founded by En no Gyoja (also known as Yakuo Kaku), the founder of Shugendo.
The temple grounds are home to numerous historical structures, including a national Important Cultural Property: the multi-storied pagoda, as well as the main hall, the Kannon hall, and a bell tower.
The multi-storied pagoda, rebuilt during the Muromachi period, bears an inscription dated 1515 (Eisei 12) on its first-floor wall panels.
The main hall faces the waterfall to the south, while the multi-storied pagoda is positioned to the north, behind the main hall. This unusual arrangement, with the pagoda situated behind the main hall, is a unique characteristic of Daiitoku-ji Temple.
Daiitoku-ji Temple also features four magnificent waterfalls: the "Ichi-no-taki" (10m drop), "Ni-no-taki" (5m drop), "San-no-taki" (10m drop), and "Nishiryu-no-taki" (7.8m drop).
These waterfalls contribute to the breathtaking valley scenery, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere for visitors.
