The Catholic Nyusa Church, perched on a hill overlooking the Hirado Strait, is a breathtaking white church built in 1929 (Showa 4). Designed by Yosuke Tetsukawa, its architectural beauty is both majestic and captivating. While photography is prohibited inside, the church boasts stunning stained glass windows and a soaring ceiling. Please note that the road leading to the church is narrow, and the parking area has a steep incline.
The history of the Catholic Nyusa Church dates back to the Meiji era, with the first church completed in 1885 (Meiji 18). The current church was built thanks to donations from parishioners, and it remains a beloved symbol of the community.

• Mass (worship service) is a sacred ritual. Please refrain from taking photographs during Mass.
• Eating, drinking, and smoking are prohibited inside the church.
• Loud talking, running, and boisterous behavior are not permitted.
• Please do not touch any items within the church (religious artifacts, decorations, etc.) without permission.
• The church restrooms are for the use of parishioners. We kindly request that you use restrooms outside the church whenever possible.
