The Yamanashi Prefectural Fuji World Heritage Center opened on June 22, 2016. Established as a guidance facility on the Yamanashi side to promote the appeal and value of Mount Fuji following its World Heritage registration, it offers a wealth of engaging content for visitors of all ages. This includes a 1/1000 scale model of Mount Fuji and VR experiences. The adjacent Yamanashi Prefectural Fuji Visitor Center (North Building) provides access to various information and resources on Mount Fuji.
