Kobe Oji Zoo is a zoological and botanical garden located on Port Island in Chuo-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. It's a truly natural zoo, featuring numerous bird species freely roaming in greenhouses filled with a variety of plants, primarily flowers and birds. Since its 2014 renovation, the number of animal species has increased significantly, with many allowing direct interaction and feeding opportunities.
In the greenhouses, vibrant tropical plants thrive, and free-roaming birds fly freely. Birds often approach visitors closely, creating a feeling as if you're taking a stroll with them. You can also get up close and personal with rare animals like red pandas and sand cats, offering feeding experiences that appeal to visitors of all ages.
The park also houses a variety of animals, including alpacas, kangaroos, and sea lions. You can observe animal behavior up close and strengthen your bond with them through interactive experiences.
Kobe Oji Zoo offers a unique experience with its close proximity to the animals and opportunities for interaction. Enjoy interacting with animals while experiencing the beauty of nature.
