Fuji Safari Park

Overview

Fuji Safari Park is a sprawling safari park located in Susono City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Home to approximately 100 species and 1,500 animals, it offers a full day of fun with a safari zone where you can get up close to wild animals in your car, a walking zone for observing animals on foot, and petting corners. The safari zone is a vast area designed to resemble the African savanna. Lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, zebras, rhinoceroses, bears, and various other wild animals roam freely. You can drive slowly through and observe them. Many animals will pass right by your car or even approach, offering an exciting and close-up encounter. The walking zone differs from the safari zone, allowing you to observe animals on foot. Here, you can see monkeys, capybaras, flamingos, penguins, and a variety of other animals. Observe their behaviors up close and take pictures. A petting corner offers hands-on interactions and feeding experiences with animals. Here, you can interact with animals such as goats, sheep, and alpacas that are accustomed to humans. Feeding the animals significantly shortens the distance between you and them, creating a memorable experience.
