Uotobikei is a scenic spot located in Kage-chō Kizu, Kitamurogun, Kihoku-chō, Mie Prefecture, along the Mataguchi River, a tributary of the Choshi River. The valley, stretching approximately 3 kilometers, is dominated by various sized oddly shaped and massive rocks, creating a breathtaking landscape that overwhelms visitors. The area also boasts beautiful cherry blossoms, wisteria, and rhododendrons in spring, lush greenery in early summer, and vibrant autumn foliage, offering a diverse range of scenic beauty throughout the year. The name Uotobikei (literally, "fish-flying ravine") is said to have originated from the sight of Ayu fish leaping between the rocks in the ancient times.
