The Wakato Ohashi Bridge spans Doha Bay in Kita-Kyushu City, connecting Tobata and Wakamatsu Wards. Completed in September 1962, it boasts a length of 1,068m and a width of 25.5m. Initially a toll bridge, the Wakato Ohashi Bridge became free to the public on December 1, 2018, making it easily accessible to locals and visitors alike. From the bridge, you can enjoy panoramic views of Doha Bay and the Kita-Kyushu cityscape, captivating many tourists. At night, the bridge is beautifully illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere.
