A breathtaking spectacle of 15,000 roses in bloom, a feast for the senses!
Overview
RSK Rose Garden is a botanical garden in Kita-ku, Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture, featuring 15,000 rose bushes and a variety of seasonal flowers throughout the year. Opened in 1974, it has been a beloved spot for locals and tourists alike.
The garden features flowerbeds and walkways arranged in a roughly 200m circle, with the RSK Kibi Radio Transmitter at its center. Initially created as a buffer zone for the transmitter's signal, it's now a cherished place to enjoy the beauty of roses.
Roses are in full bloom in early summer and autumn, painting the garden in vibrant colors. May is particularly spectacular, showcasing a million roses at their peak. A wide variety of rose species from around the world are on display.
Beyond roses, you can enjoy irises, peonies, hydrangeas, and other seasonal flowers. Cherry blossoms grace the garden in spring, and autumn brings stunning autumn foliage. Restaurants and shops within the garden ensure a full day of enjoyment.
RSK Rose Garden is a recommended tourist spot for connecting with nature and soothing the soul. Why not spend a memorable time strolling amidst the fragrant roses, taking photos, and creating lasting memories?
