Enjoy snorkeling and diving in Sado Island's clearest waters!

Overview

Futsukame Beach is located in Tokaibu, northern Sado Island, and boasts the clearest waters on the island. The iconic "Futsukame" (Two Turtle Rocks), two imposing rocks side-by-side, rise majestically before you, creating a breathtaking view of the blue sea and sky that will captivate you. The exceptionally clear water is perfect for snorkeling and diving. In shallower areas, you can even observe tropical fish and starfish. A short walk from the beach will bring you to the "Futsukame" rocks themselves, a cluster of unique and strangely shaped rock formations. The appearance of the "Futsukame" changes dramatically with the tide, offering a different view with each visit. Please note that the stairs leading from the parking lot down to the beach are somewhat steep, so visitors with young children should take extra care. However, the stunning scenery and abundant nature more than make up for this minor inconvenience. When visiting Sado Island, be sure to visit Futsukame Beach and experience the magnificent nature and crystal-clear waters.
