By Train and Bus: Take the Tsukuba Express to Tsukuba Station. Then, take the Tsukuba Mountain Shuttle Bus to "Tsukuba Shrine Entrance" (approx. 40 minutes). During the Tsukuba Mountain Plum Blossom Festival, the return bus to Tsukuba Center will make a temporary stop at the "Umebayashi Entrance" bus stop. By Car: From the Tsuchiura Kita IC on the Joban Expressway, take National Route 125, Ibaraki Prefectural Road 14, and Ibaraki Prefectural Road 42 (approx. 45 minutes). However, during the Tsukuba Mountain Plum Blossom Festival, parking near the plum grove will be extremely crowded, so using the Tsukuba Mountain Shuttle Bus is recommended. Show route
