Established in 1989 by local residents, the garden was initially an abandoned farmland. Driven by a desire for "muraokoshi" (village revitalization), the residents collaborated to plant the plum saplings. Today, it's a beloved tourist spot representing Ichikai-machi. In spring, the garden explodes with white, red, and pale pink plum blossoms, filling the air with a sweet fragrance. A free shuttle bus operates from Ichikai Town Hall (seasonal). Free parking is available within the garden. However, parking can be crowded during the Plum Festival, so allow extra time for your visit.
