Among the ski resorts in the Minakami area, it boasts a high altitude and a north-facing slope, resulting in relatively good snow quality.
The slopes range from gentle beginner courses to challenging expert courses near the summit, providing enjoyment for both skiers and snowboarders.
A dedicated park area also caters to snowboarders.
The resort features a full range of amenities, including restaurants, cafes, and rental shops, ensuring a fun-filled day for everyone.
Additionally, hot spring inns and hotels are within walking distance of the resort, offering opportunities to relax in onsen (hot springs).
Access is excellent, with the resort located approximately 17km from the Joshinetsu Expressway Minakami IC, and a free shuttle bus service operating from Joshinetsu Line Minakami Station.

From the Joshinetsu Expressway Minakami IC, take National Route 291 and a prefectural road for approximately 17km.
By Train:
Take the Kanto Koutsu bus from Joshinetsu Line Minakami Station to Takaragawa-iriguchi bus stop (approx. 30 minutes).
Take the Kanto Koutsu bus from Joetsu Shinkansen Joemo Kogen Station to Takaragawa-iriguchi bus stop (approx. 70 minutes).
Board a Kanto Koutsu bus bound for Takaragawa Onsen or Yunoko-ya, and get off at the Takaragawa-iriguchi bus stop. A free shuttle bus to the ski resort is available from Takaragawa-iriguchi (approx. 5 minutes).
A free shuttle bus directly to the ski resort is also available from Joetsu Shinkansen Joemo Kogen Station and Joshinetsu Line Minakami Station. However, please note that the shuttle bus from Joemo Kogen Station/Minakami Station has limited operating days and departure times. Show route

Lift ticket prices are: Adults (junior high school students and above) ¥4,000, Children (elementary school students) ¥2,500, Infants (4 years old and above) ¥1,500.
Rental ski and snowboard sets are: Adults (junior high school students and above) ¥3,500, Children (elementary school students) ¥3,000.

Parking is free on weekdays. On weekends, national holidays, and year-end/New Year's period, it's ¥1,000 for regular-sized cars (half price after 12:00 PM).
