Hōkekyōji Temple is one of the head temples of Nichiren Buddhism, located in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture. Its establishment dates back to 1274 (Bun'ei 11), when Nichiren Daishonin stayed in Nakayama and built the temple.
