Yunomine Onsen Tsuboyu is a hot spring located in Yunomine, Honmyocho, Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture, registered as a World Heritage site. Situated almost at the heart of the Nakahechi trail of the Kumano Kodo, it boasts a long history as a spa town. Historically used as a place for ritual cleansing (yuakariba) by pilgrims on their Kumano pilgrimage, Yunomine Onsen Tsuboyu is now a World Heritage site. The spring water is a sulfurous sodium bicarbonate spring with a temperature of 92℃ (197.6℉). It's said to be effective for neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, skin diseases, and diabetes.
