Kaimon-dake

Overview

Kaimon-dake is a 924-meter-high volcano located at the southernmost tip of the Satsuma Peninsula in Ibusuki City, Kagoshima Prefecture. Its beautiful conical shape has earned it the nickname 'Satsuma Fuji'. From the summit, you can enjoy a stunning 360-degree panorama, including the expansive Pacific Ocean, Yakushima Island in the distance, and the majestic Lake Ikeda.
