Overview

Migairi Falls, located in Oichi-cho, Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, is a stunning waterfall selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls. As its name suggests, its magnificent scenery is unforgettable. Boasting one of the largest drops in Kyushu at 100 meters, the roaring waterfall is truly awe-inspiring. Various shades of blue, purple, and pink hydrangeas create a magical atmosphere combined with the roaring sound of the waterfall. The Ikisagawa Dam is located just upstream of the waterfall. The area also features stone Buddhas such as Fudo Myoo, Juichimen Kannon, and Jizo, adding a mystical ambiance.
