Mishima Skywalk, located in Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture, is Japan's longest pedestrian suspension bridge. From its 400-meter length and 70.6-meter height, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of majestic Mount Fuji, the azure waters of Suruga Bay, and the Hakone mountain range. On a clear day, you might even spot Izu Oshima and the Boso Peninsula in the distance.
The bridge's mesh-like floor offers a thrilling experience as you can see right through to the ground far below.
But Mishima Skywalk is more than just a bridge; it's a multifaceted complex offering a variety of experiences. On both sides of the bridge, you'll find a range of facilities, including athletic courses, observation decks, cafes, and restaurants. The athletic course features thrilling attractions such as zip lines and Tarzan ropes. Observation decks provide different perspectives of Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay. And, of course, you can savor delicious meals and sweets while enjoying the spectacular views at the cafes and restaurants.
Mishima Skywalk is truly a "heavenly paradise" where you can connect with nature, experience thrills, and savor delicious food. It's a recommended sightseeing spot for everyone – families, couples, and friends alike.
