Utsukushi Mori

Utsukushi Mori is a mountain located in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, at an elevation of 1,542 meters (4,994 feet). Situated on a gentle hilltop on a ridge extending east from Mount Aka, it's easily accessible via Yamanashi Prefectural Road 615 (Utsukushi Mori Kiyosato Line) at its base. The summit boasts an observation deck offering stunning views of the Kiyosato Highland and the Akaishi Mountains. On a clear day, you might even catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji. Furthermore, hiking trails extend towards Mount Aka via the Shingyoji Ridge, catering to various skill levels, from beginner to advanced.
